KC Protective Services is currently hiring for a full-time Facility Protection Agent
located in Grandview, MO. This position has a fixed schedule of 6pm-10 pm on
Wednesdays and 10am-10pm Thursdays through Saturdays, including holidays.

Special Response Protection Agent - Now filling the deployment list!
Assignment:
Response to natural and manmade disasters. Typical disasters are hurricanes and wildfires. KC Protective Services (KCPS) provides a safe and secure environment for the engineers and construction workers during the planning and rebuilding phases of a disaster. The length of these assignments can be weeks to months, depending on the needs of the client and the length of time it takes to rebuild.
Starting Pay: $30/hr. Per diem: $75/day. Housing and travel to and from assignment are covered. Overtime rate applies to any 1-day more than 12 hours. Day rates can increase dependent on location, environment and lodging available. Rental vehicles will be provided on some occasions.

Education, certifications, and licenses:
· Must be able to provide proof of veteran status, licenses, CCP/CCW and certifications, as needed to be considered for the job opportunity. A resume, bio and headshot will be required (headshot will need to look professional, include waste and above, shoulders visible and from the front view). Please use neutral background.
Equipment:
· Must provide own firearm (9mm, .40 or .45). Other calibers can be considered on a case-by-case basis.
· Must provide own flashlight (minimum of 2). Pocket size is acceptable and recommended.
· Must provide own clothing (unless uniforms are required in which case will be provided). Most assignments are plain clothes. No derogatory attire will be acceptable. Typical attire consists of tactical pants and button up shirt. Examples will be provided.
· Must provide own cold weather and wet weather gear.
· Must provide own footwear. Solomon and Merrill are acceptable. No tennis shoes.
· Headgear is typically authorized and encouraged.
· Environment could be muddy/wet. Come prepared with change of clothes/footwear.
· A recommended packing list will be provided at a later date.
